HERNE BAY DANCE, THE. English, Country Dance Tune (2/4 time). G Major ('A' part) & D Major ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune dates to 1836, published by Longman, Clementi and Co. (London). Herne Bay is a seaside town in Kent.
