DUKE OF GLOUCESTER'S MARCH [1], THE. English, March (cut time). B Flat Major. Standard tuning. AABB. The march was new to Henry Playford's 11th edition of the Dancing Master (London, 1701), and was retained in the long-running series through the 18th and last edition of 1728.
