FATHER KELLY'S (REEL) [3] (Ríl an Athar Uí Cheallaigh). AKA and see "Monsignor's Blessing (The)," "Over the Bog Road." Irish, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The tune appears as "Hurricane's Victory (The)" in Anthony "Sully" Sullivan's Irish Traditional Tunes Session Book, vol. 1. The "Father Kelly's" name (first applied to this tune on James Keane's 1980 Roll Away the Reel World LP and transcribed from that recording for Ceol Rince na hÉireann, vol. 5) may have been a confusion with "Captain Kelly," a similar sounding tune.
