County Sligo fiddler Paddy Killoran [1] recorded the tune in New York in 1939 as "Langton's Reel" or "Langton's Favorite" (in a medley following a 2-part version of "Mason's Apron"). Following this recording Killoran re-recorded the piece for RTE during a visit back to Ireland, this time calling it "Dillon Brown," which was also name piper Mike Carney had for it.
