LORD RAMSAY [3]. Scottish, Strathspey. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Surenne): AAB (Gow, Honeyman, Kerr, Stewart-Robertson). Composed by Nathaniel Gow (1763-1831) in honor of George Ramsay, 9th Earl of Dalhousie (see note for "Earl of Dalhousie's Reel (2)"). The Gows' Fifth Collection (1809) was dedicated to the Countess of Dalhousie, his wife, Christina.
