MAD COUPLE, THE. English, Reel or Highland. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. John Johnson printed a "Mad Couple" in his Two Hundred Favourite Country Dances, vol. 8 (London, 1758) but it is a different tune (in 6/8 time).
