NIEL GOW'S STYLE ("Stoile Neill Ghobha" or "Staoileach Neill Ghobha"). Scottish, Strathspey. B Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Hardie): AAB (Fraser): AABB (Alburger). Composed by Captain Simon Fraser. This tune "is merely Niel Gow's sprightly style imitated by the editor, in which his friends are pleased to say he has made a happy effort" (Fraser).
