ORMOND SOUND. AKA and see "Paddy O'Brien's," "Saving the Hay." Irish, Reel. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by accordion and fiddle player Paddy O'Brien [1] (1922-1991) of Nenagh, Newtown, County Tipperary. The late New Jersey flute player Mike Rafferty recorded the tune as "Saving the Hay," a title of unknown origin (although O'Brien did call another of his reels "Cutting the Hay," so perhaps there was some confusion).
