PATE BAILLIE'S JIG. Scottish, Jig (6/8 time). E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBC. biography:Pate Baillie (1774-1841) lived in Loanhead, Midlothian, and was a mason (though his nickname was "the fiddling tinker") and musician. He published a collection of tunes in 1825, although this tune does not appear in it; it is not known if he was the composer.
