QUICK STEP 15TH REGIMENT. English, March (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. When the British army reorganized in 1751, and regiments ceased to be called after their colonel's, this regiment was designated the 15th Regiment of Foot, a name altered in 1782 when it was associated with a county (for recruiting purposes) and became the 15th (The Yorkshire East Riding) Regiment of Foot.
