BAKER'S REEL [2], THE. Irish, Reel (whole time). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune is contained in vol. 2 of the mid-19th century music manuscript collection of County Cork cleric and uilleann piper biography:James Goodman. Goodman researchers Hugh and Lisa Shileds find a similar melody in "Old Maid (1) (The)," and that Goodman’s “Tatter the Rags” is perhaps a jig version of the tune.
