COLCANNON (The Skillet Pot). AKA and see "First of May." Irish, Air. Colcannon is a traditional Irish dish of mashed potatoes with kale or cabbage, now often associated with St. Patrick's Day fare. The melody generally conforms to the hornpipe "First of May."
