CORBIN SLIDE. American, Country Blues/Ragtime (cut time). C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The tune was the work of Alex Hood's and His Railroad Boys, a string band from the town of Corbin, that featured the fiddling of Emory Mills. Corbin was once a prominent eastern Kentucky rail hub. See the Railroad Boys' "annotation:L and N Rag", their only other recording, for more information.
