COW-BOYS' (JIG) [1], THE. American (originally Irish), Jig (6/8 time). G Major (most versions): A Major (Songer). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The "Cow-boys'" is a member of a 6/8 time tune family that includes "Charley the Prayermaster," "Fear a Fuair Bas (An)," "I Will if I Can (2)" and "O'Connell's Welcome to Clare (2)."
