McKINNEY WALTZ. American, Waltz (3/4 time). C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The tune is presumably named for the town of McKinney, Texas, just northeast of the city of Dallas. It is about 75 miles away from the East Texas Serenaders home area, around Mineola, east Texas.
