ROAD TO SKYE. AKA and see "Paddy's Resource (1)," "Rover (2) (The)." Canadian, Scottish, Irish, English; Jig. Canada; Prince Edward Island, Cape Breton. A Major (Dunlay, Perlman) or G Major (Dunlay). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A Cape Breton version of the Scottish/Irish/English jig usually known as "Paddy's Resource (1)," traceable to the late 18th century. "Kitty of Coleraine" is a closely related tune. The tune is played in both ‘A’ and ‘G’ major on Cape Breton.
