SCHOTTISCH QUADRILLES NO. 4. American (?), Schottische (2/4). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABCDE. This set of tunes, composed primarily of schottische's, was arranged for dancing a quadrille. It was entered into the music manuscript collection of musician M.E. Eames, dated 1859 (p. 253), who may have been from Philadelphia, Pa. The tune's provenance is unknown.
