SCOTCH HORNPIPE [6]. AKA and see "Miss Shepherd’s Hornpipe." Scottish?, Hornpipe (cut time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The hornpipe appears as "Scotch Hornpipe" in the 1835-41 music manuscript collection of Wyresdale, Lancashire, musician James Winder. Francis O'Neill published it in his O'Neill's Irish Music (1915) under the title "Miss Shepherd’s Hornpipe," although where O'Neill obtained it is unknown.
