SHANNON WALTZ [1]. American, Waltz (3/4 time). USA; Texas. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABC (Silberberg). "Shannon Waltz (1)" is a northern tune which found its way into the repertoire of the 1920's stringband the East Texas Serenaders whose fiddler, Daniel H. Williams, learned the tune from a northern fiddler of his acquaintance, one Mr. Brigsley.
