TAILOR'S WEDDING, THE (Banis an Tàiller). AKA and see "Larry Redican's Jig (1)," "Legacy (2) (The)," "Skiver the Quilt." Scottish, Irish; Jig (6/8 time). A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The first strain of "Tailor's Wedding", a jig, and Donegal fiddler John Doherty's hornpipe "Knackers of Navan (The)" are similar in melodic contour and are likely cognate, despite the difference in rhythm.
