LAKE ON THE MOUNTAIN. Canadian, Jig. Composed by the late champion fiddler Graham Townsend [1] (1942-1998), of Ontario. Central New York fiddler Chad Miller reports the tune has become a regional 'standard' of sorts, stemming from a performance by Graham and Eleanor Townsend at a Fiddler's Picnic in Osceola, NY.
