HUMOURS OF GLASSES. Irish, Reel (whole time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The melody appears in vol. 3 of the large mid-19th century music manuscript collection of County Cork cleric, uilleann piper and collector James Goodman. Hugh and Lisa Shields note the the first strain of O'Neill's "Skibbereen Lasses (The)" (MOI, No. 469) is cognate, but I fail to recognize the connection.
