PATRICK SARSFIELD. Irish, Air (cut or 4/4 time). G Dorian (Petrie): G Major (Wright). Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. Patrick Sarsfield [1] (1660-1693) was a general in the army of James in the wars with the forces of William of Orange. He led the ‘flight of the Wild Geese’ to the Continent after their defeat.
