AA THE SHIPS ARE SAILING. Shetland, Shetland Reel. Shetland, Nesting According to Shetland fiddler, teacher and composer Tom Anderson, the reel was composed at the beginning of the 20th century, and depicts the herring fleet sailing out to the fishing grounds. It was collected in the Shetland village of Nesting.
