Tune properties and standard notation
FLYING CLOUDS [2]. Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, North Carolina. F Major ('A' part) & C Major ('B' part) {although on the Rambler's recording the fiddle was either tuned down and played in the positions of keys of G and D, or the recording speed was off). Posey Rorer, fiddler for Charlie Poole and the North Carolina Ramblers for a time, played this "Flying Cloud" tune, a different one than Uncle Jimmy Thompson's ("Flying Cloud (1)").
