ABERCARNEY'S REEL. Scottish, Reel. A Dorian. Standard tuning. AAB. The melody first appears in Biography:Alexander M’Glashan Collection. McGlashan (Collection of Strathspey Reels), c. 1780/81; pg. 25.
A tune apparently honoring James Moray (1705-1777) of Abercairney (see note for "Abercairney House (2)" for more).
