BUFF AND BLUE [4]. Scottish, Strathspey. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Buff and Blue" composed by Captain (Robert) Riddell (d. 1794), a Scot, and appears in his own Collection of Scotch Galwegian Border Tunes (1794) as well as John Anderson's 2nd Collection c. 1790-1794.
