Back to Carron Bridge (1)
CARRON BRIDGE [1]. Canadian, Strathspey. Canada, Cape Breton. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed by Cape Breton fiddler Dan R. MacDonald (1911-1976). It is perhaps named for a bridge over the River Carron, in central Scotland, built on the site of an old drover's ford at the eastern end of Strathcarron Forest.
