Back to Chapel Gate (The)


CHAPEL GATE, THE. Irish, Reel. A Major/Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by County Cavan/Philadelphia fiddle player and composer Ed Reavy (1898-1988). The chapel gate of the title is from the Knockbride parish chapel, the church the Reavy family attended in County Cavan.
