CHARMING MAID. English, Country Dance Tune (2/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). The melody was printed by John Young in his Part II of the Dancing Master series (vol. 3, 1718 and vol. 4, 1728), and by John Walsh in his Second Book of the Compleat Country Dancing Master (London, 1719).
