CHIMES. AKA and see Talk:Birmingham March. American, March (4/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody appears in the c. 1785 American flute manuscript of Henry Beck. As "The Birmingham March" it is to be found in the 1830's music manuscript collection of Shropshire musician John Moore.
