Back to Dairymaid (2) (The)
DAIRY MAID [2], THE (An Banairgeac). AKA and see "The Dairy-Maid's Wish." Irish, Double Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The earliest appearance of the tune in print is in Church of Ireland cleric James Goodman's mid-19th century manuscripts as "The Dairy-Maid's Wish."
