DAN R'S MANY FRIENDS. Canadian, Reel. Canada, Cape Breton. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Probably composed by Cape Breton fiddler and composer Dan R. MacDonald (1911-1976), though the title comes from editior Paul Cranford as he had no other.

Source for notated version: Winston Fitzgerald (1914-1987, Cape Breton), from a tape made at an Ashby Legion dance [Cranford].

Printed sources: Cranford (Winston Fitzgerald), 1997; No. 81, p. 35.
