DEVIL IN GEORGIA [1], THE. AKA and see "Temperance Reel," "Teetotaler('s Reel)." Old-Time, Breakdown. USA; eastern Ky., West Virginia. Doc Robert's cover title for "Temperence Reel." Charles Wolfe believes the tune to bear some resemblance to a familiar Kentucky tune called "Stoney Point" or "Buck Creek Gals," but others dispute this saying "Devil in Georgia" is not in fact in that tune family.
