EAMONN A' CHNUICK. AKA and see "Colonel O'Gara," "Green Woods of Truigha (The)," "Ned of the Hill." Irish, Air (3/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB. O'Neill (Irish Folk Music, p. 131) points out that the tune ("of great antiquity") is well-known throughout Ireland, and that "Eamonn an Cnuic" is the Leinster title.
