Back to Fanny Hill (1)
FANNY/FANNIE HILL. Old-Time, Breakdown. USA; southwestern Va., south-western Ky. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABB (Titon): AABB (Phillips). 'Revival' sources are from Galax, Va., fiddler John Patterson. Jeff Titon says the Phelps/Butler version is closely related to one of the "Cumberland Gap" versions.
