FLOWER OF THE VALE, THE. Irish, Air (6/8 time). A Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Joyce): AABB (O'Farrell). The 'vale' of the title may refer to the famed Golden Vale of Ireland, a large fertile region of the island.
