GLASGOW HIGHLANDERS. Scottish, Country Dance. The title is that of a Scottish County Dance, actually a hybrid form, being part Foursome or Highland Reel and part country dance. The tune played for it should be a strathspey of the 'fling' type. Glasgow is Gaelic for 'green hollow.'
