Back to Glen of Aherlow (The)


GLENS OF AHERLOW, THE (Gleannta Eatharlaí). AKA and see "Dash to Portobello (The)," "Seán Ryan's Favourite." Irish, Reel. E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. The tune appears on Kevin Burke's album "An Fhidil II" as "Glens of Aherlow," although in actuality it is a Seán Ryan (d. 1985) composition called "Dash to Portobello (The)."
