Back to Glide Waltz


GLIDE WALTZ. Old-Time, Waltz. USA, Kentucky. G Major ('A' part), D Major ('B' part) & C Major ('C' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBAACC. Recorded in 1930 by the Green String Band (named for the lead fiddler of the band, A. Judson Green, who coincidentally was born near the banks of western Kentucky's Green River), who featured particularly effective fiddle harmony on the number.
