Back to Highland lad my love was born (A)
HIGHLAND LAD MY LOVE WAS BORN, A. AKA and see "White Cockade (1)," "Watson's Scotch Measure." This lyric by burns was originally set to "Watson's Scotch Measure," but is now commonly associated with the similar melody "White Cockade (1)." The title is sometimes shortened to "Highland Lad" or "Highland Laddie", which leads to confusion with other so-named tunes.
