Back to Honey Pot (The)


HONEY POT, THE. English, Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody was first printed by London publishers Charles and Samuel Thompson in their 1765 country dance collection. It also was included in the1770 music manuscript of Northumbrian musician William Vickers, about whom, unfortunately, nothing is known.
