Back to Honeymoon Jig (2)


HONEYMOON JIG [2]. AKA and see "Drink of Brandy (The)." Irish (?), Slip Jig (9/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. A member of a very large tune family that includes "Cummilum" and "Yellow Stockings" among numerous others. The tune appears as "Drink of Brandy (The)" in Ryan's Mammoth Collection, another publication of the Elias Howe company (Boston).
