JAN MIJNE MAN Dutch, Air (4/4 time). A Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'B. The tune is the air for a Dutch or Flemish children's song, about a boy's fantasy play of becoming a knight. The tune is occasionally employed as a vehicle for English morris dancing.

Jan, mijne man, wou ruiter worden,
Jan, mijne man die had geen paard.
Toen nam hij de kat
En trok 'm aan z'n staart
Toen had Jan, mijne man een paard.
