Back to Joe Confiant's Strathspey


JOE CONFIANT'S. Canadian, Strathspey. Canada, Cape Breton. A Major. AEae tuning (fiddle). AABB. Dunlay & Greenberg credit Johnny Wilmot (1916-1993) with disseminating this tune, learned from Joe Confiant. Cape Breton fiddler Joe Confiant (1900-1985) lived for many years in the George's River area of Northside, Cape Breton County.
