JOHN CAMPBELL'S TRIP TO PORT TOWNSEND. American, Reel. G Major ('A' part) & E Dorian ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Mike Richardson (Seattle, Washington), who told Susan Songer (Portland Collection) the melody was inspired by a series of classes with Cape Breton fiddler John Campbell at Fiddle Tunes in Port Townsend, Washington, in 1988.
