MR. WILLIAM STEWART’S STRATHSPEY. Scottish, Strathspey. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The tune is paired with “Mr. John Stewart’s Reel” in Malcolm MacDonald’s (c 1740-1800) first collection (1788), dedicated to Mrs. Baird of Newbyth.
