MRS. LAIRD OF STRICKMERTEN’S FAVORITE. Scottish, Air (3/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune appears in Malcolm MacDonald’s 4th collection, dedicated to the Countess of Breadalbane, where it is labled “a Welch air.”
