CROOKED HORNPIPE. New England, Hornpipe. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Ralph Page (1903-1985), a New Hampshire born and raised (he was based in Keene for much of his life) dance caller and musician. Page's dance and musical career spanned some fifty-five years and he became the leading authority of his era on New England country dancing, internationally recognized for his accomplishments.
