MAGHO SNAPS, THE. Irish, Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by fiddler Mick Hoy of Derrygonelly, County Fermanagh, northern Ireland. Magho is a townland in Fermanagh, located on the south shore of Lower Lough Erne. The Cliffs of Magho are a feature the stretches for more than five miles nearby. The 'snaps' is the name given to a stretch of bumpy road.
